Our offices are currently open. 

EA Networks would like to reassure the Mid Canterbury community that we will continue to provide our region with essential electricity services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

We recognise the the important part we all play ensuring that we reduce any risk of transmission in our workplace or in the field. We have implemented new measures to protect the wider public and our staff so we can continue to provide you with essential power services.

We have also secured a secondary work site for our people which allows for increased physical distancing and operational security.

Keeping the lights on and the web connected for our customers remains our top priority and is of utmost importance during these ever-changing times.

There is currently no increased risk to our power supply. All planned outages can be viewed on the Current Outages page on this site. Our continued investment in a robust, modern electricity network means that we are equipped to effectively manage and respond to outage issues when they occur.
