EA Networks is preparing to begin a major upgrade to the electricity network serving the Mt Somers and Montalto area, helping ensure a safe, reliable and resilient power supply for local homes, farms and businesses into the future.

The project, scheduled to begin next week, will upgrade parts of the existing network to a modern 22kV system, supporting EA Networks’ ongoing infrastructure investment to meet the region's long-term needs. The work will be completed in stages and is expected to continue over the next two years.

EA Networks will contact directly affected customers throughout the project with details about any planned outages or access requirements.
