Training & developing our team

Training and development is an important part of supporting our team. Keeping our team engaged, interested in their work and up to date with best practices ensures we are providing the best service to our customers and community.

Recently, across the business we have had a number of team members complete qualifications and participate in courses to up-skill themselves and our business.

Congratulations to the following team members for their recent qualification or training achievements:

  • Krishneel Prasad - Full Registration and Practicing License as an Electrical Engineer
  • Ruth Odlin - Bachelor of Engineering Technology
  • Atul Joon - Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning from IPWEA
  • Ash Hurrell & Craig Donaldson – Faultman and Switching
  • Rhiannon Taufa – SP10 Strategic Pay
  • Cindy Meadows - SP10 Strategic Pay
  • Michelle Driscoll - Change Management Foundation and Practitioner training course at Knowledge Academy
  • Seamus McNulty, Rex Wilson, Walt Kerr, Pete van Asperen, Allan Leis, James Longhurst - Live Line Refreshers
  • Callum Urquhart-Thomson – Block Course 2

“It’s great seeing our engineering team continuing to develop their skills both through training and qualifications and through on-the-job application of their skills. The skills gained help us continue to build and maintain a high performing network and play our part in the wider EA Networks team,” said Pete Armstrong, GM Network.
