A High Load consent is required when transporting loads with an overall height of 4.3 meters (and higher) to secure electricity supply and ensure safety to the general public.
Previously, you would need to apply for a High Load Consent directly to EA Networks. Now, there is a website, supported by all South Island Lines companies, to make it easier for you to apply for High Load Consents, especially when the consent applies across Line company boundaries.
