Warmer for Winter

We're helping make more homes Warm for Winter

EA Networks Warm for Winter initiative is kicking off again for 2023. This year, we've been lucky enough to secure funding from MBIE under their Support for Energy Education Communities (SEEC Funding initiative), which focuses on enabling community-level energy education to help households in need.

This funding, alongside our own Energy Advocacy funds, is enabling us to provide in-home energy assessments for 200 homes throughout Mid Canterbury.

What are we doing?

We've partnered with Ecobulb and Connecting Mid Canterbury to build a team of in-home energy assessors, who will be visiting homes in the region, providing in-home energy assessment advice, as well as gifting low-cost energy solutions such as LED light bulbs, draught stops and v-seal.

Want to register?

We are currently accepting referrals from local community agencies and schools, who can help us identify homes in need within our area. We can also take referrals from friends and family. You can make a referral by completing our Warm for Winter application form

Once a referral has been made, one of our in-home energy assessors will be in touch directly with the family or individual who will receive the in-home energy assessment.
